Prognostic value of the influence of anemia on heart failure

Abstract

Dear Editor: After reviewing the article by Guevara et al., which offers an interesting analysis of the pathophysiological relationship between hemoglobin deficiency and the causes of heart failure (HF), it is noted that, in spite of several studies on the influence of anemia on morbidity and mortality in HF, there is no agreement on the prognostic value of this disease (1). However, there are several research on the prognostic value of the influence of anemia on HF, which we aim to complement with our submission.
